ABOUT

Australia’s seafood industry puts one billion high quality, nutritious and great tasting seafood meals on tables around the world each year.

Australia has a worldwide reputation as a supplier of premium, high-quality Great Australian Seafood, produced using environmentally sustainable practices in wild-catch fishing and aquaculture.

All Australian commercial fisheries are monitored and managed for sustainability. Each species population dynamics are observed closely by government scientists, and they have fishery assessments to ensure that every Australian fishery complies with sustainability protocols.
