Seafood Traders Pty Ltd (reg. est. 6027) was established on its Cambridge, Tasmania site in 1993.

Our Facility
Seafood Traders Pty Ltd operates a freehold facility within 5 minutes of Hobart Airport. The plant is fully AQIS and HAACP compliant.

The export plant at Cambridge, Tasmania has a holding capacity of 7,000kg of live abalone in 50 individual tanks across 9 separate systems. The state of the art facility can accept abalone from all parts of Tasmania.

Locally caught seafood is sourced from the clear, pristine waters off the beautiful coast of Robe in the south east of South Australia.

Here at Kuya Seafood, we produce a range of delicious fresh and chilled, candy cured, smoked, and pickled seafood products. We use fresh and ethically sourced seafood, ranging from Yellowtail Kingfish to Sardines, Abalone, Octopus and Tuna, and infuse them with a range of mouth-watering flavours before cold smoking them.

Our customers can be assured that when they engage SOE to handle their logistics, packaging and transport needs, they are investing in a well-established and highly-accomplished company who will do whatever it takes to ensure the safe and timely delivery of their product. SOE only use accredited freight companies and boast an experienced team of personnel who will fully coordinate logistics, and ensure all necessary documentation required is both complete, and compliant.

The clear cold waters on the southern coast of Australia are home to some of the best seafood in the world, and also to the fishermen who supply Southern United Seafood with the freshest fish and crustacean.

We bring in lobster from the rocky South Australian coast, abalone from Victoria and Tasmania, Morwong from the South Pacific Ocean off Tasmania and snow crab from Western Australian waters.

Streaky Bay Marine Products Abalone are harvested by hand from the remote Far West coastline off South Australia.
With over 45 year’s experience in the Wild Catch Abalone Fishery from quota ownership, to operating our own dive fleet, through to processing and exporting this premium product, our experience ensures our Abalone is of the highest quality when received by our customers.

The Wild Greenlip and Blacklip Abalone is harvested from the sea floor by hand, by our experienced divers.

We specialise in catching, processing and value adding of Tasmanian Octopus “Pallidus”.
T.O.P. Fish octopus are caught in the roaring forties waters of Bass Strait. They are captured using a specially designed pot for these conditions and species. Nets are not used in the catching of this resource. They actually make the octopus pot their home until they are removed to allow another occupant to take up residency.
A total of 20,000 pots are set throughtout Bass Strait on 150 km of line.

Our abalone the world’s best quality and beautiful taste ahead of the Japanese product. The taste is is because it inhabits a deeper place than a normal abalone and comes from truly pure water of Tasmania and special seaweed.

All of our Oyster farms are export approved waters meeting strict Australian and International food quarantine guidelines. Our export product is packed in our own approved packing facility with strict QA and HACCP programs that control our entire domestic and export processing and packing.

The Fish Factory is a proud South Australian family owned and run company which has now been trading for three and a half decades. Since the company’s establishment in 1981 beginning in retail, it has moved into fishing, processing, wholesale, distribution and export. We raise and nurture west coast, black lip and tiger abalone at our farm in Stanley, where they are nourished by the pristine waters of west Tasmania. Tasmanian black lip abalone is particularly sought after, with its deep rich black lip and creamy delicate inner flesh. Our commitment to quality means that Three Friends Abalone is not only perfectly textured and delicious, but highly nutritious. It is a particularly strong source of selenium which is excellent for the immune system.

Trepang Fisheries is a well established recognised and respected beche de mer fishing company based in Innisfail QLD, 100km south of Cairns. However our scope of work covers all QLD state waters from Torres Strait to Fraser Island and a large portion of the Coral Sea.

At Trepang Fisheries we are very passionate supporters of the fishery, we strive to encourage and develop safe practices for the people engaged in the industry, to promote sustainable fishing measures within the industry.

Surrounded by the pristine Southern Ocean, True South Seafood operates out of two main locations: in the south of Hobart, Tasmania and Christchurch, New Zealand. Our divers are an exceptionally tough breed and year round they brave the icy, unpredictable waters of the Great Southern Ocean. From small boats, they employ free-diving and surface supplied air or ‘hookah’ to carefully select and harvest only the best abalone, Pāua, and urchins.

Ulladulla Fishermen’s Co-operative has been operating since 1956 and exporting tuna since the 1980’s.

We are a family-owned business trading since 2004, based in Coffs Harbour and operating along Australia’s Mid North Coast.
Our primary business is receiving, processing, and supplying fresh fish (tuna, swordfish, marlin, etc) to both local and export markets caught in Australian waters by vessels mainly in the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery (ETBF).
We act as a fish receiver, processor, and marketer of products for a number of vessels operating in the ETBF.

Walker Seafoods Australia is a Queensland based tuna company that operates on the entire east coast of Australia. Australias only Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Certified tuna supplier. Our main port for unloading, processing and packaging is Mooloolaba. Walker Seafoods Australia are primarily known for producing high quality, export grade product. We own five vessels that unload through our export / processing facility in Mooloolaba.

Western Abalone is now globally renowned for its highly prized produce. Our family values and our three watchwords of cooperation, quality and sustainability have led to long-term relationships within our company mirrored by those we share with our many valued international partners. Western Abalone has an exclusive brand called Golden Line. This name derives from the gold-coloured lifeline abalone divers rely on for their air supply whilst working on the seafloor.

Wild Barra Fisheries operates in the pristine Northern waters of Australia. We provide quality ocean-caught fish to our network of domestic and international customers.

Wild Barra Fisheries currently owns and operates licences in the Northern Territory and Queensland Fisheries. We strive to ensure premium quality across all of our products. Our highly experienced Management and Vessel Crews oversee all aspects of the process to ensure you experience a taste sensation when you enjoy our fish!
