The Sarin Group is a diverse group of privately owned entities located in Port Lincoln, South Australia. We specialise in a range of industries from fishing to property development. The Sarin Group operates Australian Fishing Enterprises, Port Lincoln Slipway, Sarin Property Group and the Port Lincoln Tourist Park. Sarin Group is based in Port Lincoln on the tip of South Australia’s wild and remote Eyre Peninsula.

Australian Fishing Enterprises (AFE) was established in 1987 by Mr. Sime (Sam) Sarin. AFE specialises in the fishing, ranching and grow-out of Southern Bluefin Tuna (SBT), and is the largest quota holder of SBT in the Southern Hemisphere. The scale of AFE’s operation allows us to be fully integrated and ensure high quality is maintained – we control the entire process from catching SBT to feeding, harvesting, processing and delivery. Our SBT is sold throughout the international marketplace as a premium sushi / sashimi product.

Our SBT is prized as a premium sashimi product by chefs world wide. It has a light to mild flavour, with soft to firm flesh, a delicate flavour and smooth mouth feel. SBT is well-known for its high quality o-toro and chu-toro fatty cuts favoured by sushi and sashimi lovers. As with other seafood, it is high in omega 3 fatty acid (‘good’ fats).
