For over five decades Tasmanian Seafoods have been carefully harvesting, processing, marketing, and exporting wild abalone, sea cucumber, school whiting and other seafoods from Australian waters; providing only the freshest seafood to restaurants and kitchens all over the world.
We carefully and sustainably harvest a range of high-end Australian seafoods that are provided to customers as fresh, frozen, dried, canned, and retorted products.
Established in 1969, Tasmanian Seafoods Pty Ltd has grown to be the largest processor of abalone in Australia. Currently, the processing of abalone is conducted in three factories, located at Smithton and Margate in Tasmania, and Dandenong in Victoria.
Our Dandenong plant also processes sea cucumber from across northern Australia and our Margate plant also process sea urchin.
Some of our fishing vessel’s process and pack on board to ensure the highest quality products are supplied to our customers.
Our attention to detail and commitment to quality is supported by our Approved Arrangement (AA) certification that is audited by the Australian government for all our export products.
